Fed: Aboriginals renew threat of Oly protests =2

Opposition Leader Kim Beazley accused Mr Howard of misleading Australians on reconciliation
just like he did on the GST.

Australia's stolen generation would face another round of trauma after the government's
leaked submission to a Senate inquiry disputed the existence of a generation of stolen
children, Mr Beazley said yesterday.

"It's not surprising that a man who said he would never ever introduce a GST...would
also say he was going to offer an opportunity for reconciliation for Australia and renege
on it," he said.

"Not surprising, the man has misled Australians on the GST would mislead them too on
reconciliation."
