Euronet Worldwide Inc. has lost a major ATM-processing and switch contract in the United Kingdom, Mike Brown, Euronet chairman and CEO, told analysts during an earnings call last week. Leawood, Kan.-based Euronet signed a five-year agreement in 2003 to process ATM transactions for Bank Machine Ltd., a UK-based ATM deployer owned by Cardtronics Inc. of Houston. When Bank Machine's contract with Euronet expired at the end of March, Bank Machine did not renew the agreement. …
