WA: New Country Party to contest state election

The New Country Party will be eligible to contest the West Australian state election
early next year following its official registration as a political party.

New Country Party MP FRANK HOUGH says the party has met all WA Electoral Commission
requirements and will be able to field candidates in the state election due next February.

Mr HOUGH quit the PAULINE HANSON-founded One Nation party in May to join the New Country
Party, which was formed in Queensland three years ago.
